Haptic Gloves Shipping Now

First Consumer-Ready Haptic Gloves that are Comfortable, Light, and Wireless Starts Shipping

I recently had the privilege of receiving the haptic TactGlove, one of the latest consumer haptic devices designed for gaming and VR experiences. As one of the first to get my hands on them, I am excited to explore the unique sensations they could bring to immersive experiences, when paired with mixed reality devices that have hand tracking, like the Quest Pro, Lynx R1, or Pico.

Will Haptic Gloves take Mixed reality to another level?

The TactGlove is a wearable device that provides haptic feedback to your fingers, allowing you to feel the virtual world in a whole new way. Whether you’re gripping a virtual object, firing a weapon, or feeling the impact of an explosion, the TactGlove provides a range of sensations that make you feel like you’re truly inside the game.

Developers can get haptic gloves right no for $299. Consumers are asked to wait until later in the year due to lack of support.

While I’m excited to use the TactGlove with my Quest Pro and Lynx R 1, I’m also interested in exploring its potential for mixed reality experiences. Imagine being able to feel the texture of virtual objects in a mixed reality environment, or using haptic gloves for training in XR. The possibilities are truly endless, and I can’t wait to see how developers will use this technology to create even more immersive experiences. The potential for immersive experiences is truly limitless, and I’m eager to start developing with this technology to create even more engaging realistic immersive XR environments.

In fact, I’m already planning to create a video series that explores using haptics with mixed reality, and the TactGlove will play a central role in that series. I’m excited to share my experiences and insights with the world, and to see how haptic technology will continue to evolve and transform the XR landscape. Stay tuned for more updates as I dive into the exciting world of haptic feedback in XR.
